Parts of speech are really important for a new English learner. If you want to learn English and speak with any person, you should first learn parts of speech. Grammar is very important for the English language. That’s why I have come up with Parts of Speech in English and Urdu with examples for your English grammar. What is Part of Speech?

قواعدی اجزاکلام کیا ہے؟

Parts of speech meaning in Urdu is “Quavidi ijza kalam”  and translation of Part of Speech in Urdu writing script is قواعدی اجزا کلام. Words are divided into different kinds or classes called. The part of speech or 8 in numbers

Part of speech کا اردو معنی اجزاے کلام ہے۔ الفاظوں کو مختلف اقسام میں تقسیم کرنا اجزاے کلام کہلاتا ہے۔

Parts of speech کے معنی میں دو مختلف قسموں کے الفاظ جو لکھنے یا بولنے میں استعمال ہوتے ہیں۔اردو میں بامعنی الفاظ (یعنی کلمے کی ) تین اقسام ہیں۔

Noun  اسم

Definition :

Nouns refer to persons, animals, or events, etc. Nouns encompass most of the language.

اسم جانورں، اشخاص وغیرہ کا حوالہ دیتے ہیں۔ اسم میں بیشتر زبانیں شامل ہوتی ہیں

 

Types of Noun:

  1. Common noun
  2. Proper noun
  3. Abstract noun
  4. Concreate noun
  5. Countable noun
  6. Uncountable noun

  8. Singular noun
  9. Plural noun

Examples:

Ali, Cow, Book, Lahore, America, Raza.

Identifying Noun in a sentence

My brother bought a soda at the store.

میرے بھائی نے سٹور سے سوڈا خیریدا۔

My cat is gray and white.

میری بلی گرے اور سفید ہے۔

The truck was loud!

ٹرک بلند تھا۔

That grasshopper jumps high!

The dog ran fast.

کتا تیز دوڑا۔

Her phone is blue.

اس کو فون نیلا ہے۔

Ali gave some balloons to Faheem.

علی نے فہیم کے کچھ غبارے دیے۔

A bee live is in a beehive.

Ali likes to eat beet.

علی چوقبصار کھانا پسند کرتا ہے۔

Maaz, Faheem, and Bilal took the bus.

معاذ، فہیم اور بلال نے بس لی۔

Matloob is eating a banana.

مطلوب کیلا کھا رہا ہے۔

Maaz painted a pretty picture.

معاذ نے ایک خوبصورت  تصویر بنائی۔

Definition:

A pronoun is a word that is used in a place of a noun.

اسم ضمیر ایک ایسا لفظ ہےجو اسم کی جگہ پر استعمال ہوتا ہے۔

An adjective describes or modifies nouns and pronouns in a sentence. It normally indicates quality, shape, duration, feeling, etc.

اسم صٖفت اسم اور اسم ضمیر کو بیان کرتا پے۔ یہ خوبی، شکل اور احساسات کو بھی بیان کرتا ہے۔

An adverb is part of speech that provides greater description to a verb, adjective, another adverb, a phrase, a clause, or a sentence.

ایک فعل تقریر کا حصہ ہوتا پے جو کسی فعل، صفت، کسی اور فعل، فقرے ،شق یا کسی جملے ،کی وضاحت فراہم کرتا ہے
